Job Description
Job Title: Freelance Interpreter (Arabic-English) - In Person
Language Requirements: Arabic and English fluency required
About Us: MasterWord is currently expanding its team of interpreters in the Kansas market for In Person Interpreting (IPI) services. We are seeking qualified individuals who are fluent in both Arabicand English to join our freelance interpreter pool.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality interpretation services in person ensuring effective communication between parties..
- Participate in the language professional onboarding process including interviews training and language testing.
- Meet contract requirements within 72 hours of successful onboarding.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both Arabic and English.
- Informal or professional interpretation experience is preferred.
- Successful completion of the language professional onboarding process including interview training and language testing.
- Flexible hours during weekdays.
- Preferred but not required: Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g. pharmacy tech/pharmacist nursing home hospital hospice patient tech practicum hours as part of a nursing program pharmaceutical rep CNA LVN RN volunteering at a hospital etc.).
