Geotab is seeking a Channel Manager who will work through our Carrier Partners to develop own and leverage relationships to maximize Geotabs portfolio position within each carrier. The Channel Manager is responsible for revenue strategies at the Carrier level that will pave the way for the Partner Account Managers to execute by developing programs and strategies in collaboration with the Carriers to expand revenue and minimize churn. This position requires excellent collaboration and communication skills a strong business acumen project management skills and expertise on Geotabs solutions internal sales ecosystem support business affairs and fulfillment processes.
Responsible for revenue strategies at the Carrier level.
Formulate strategies to ensure product portfolio availability and ensure fulfillment requirements are met.
Develop programs and strategies in collaboration with the Carrier Partner to mitigate churn.
Collaborate with Carrier Sales Managers to execute sales strategies and facilitate Partner success.
Formulate organize and drive multiple interconnected projects and initiatives from inception to delivery & deployment.
Develop forecasts budgets and project plans designed to hit revenue targets; track key sales metrics in concert with the Carrier Partner.
Provide status reports regarding milestones deliverables dependencies risks and issues to executive and leadership teams within Geotab.
Facilitate quarterly business reviews and key progress updates with Carriers.
Build Geotab credibility brand value and trust with the assigned Partner network.
Identify new areas for growth; propose and manage programs and initiatives accordingly.
Regularly evaluate marketing activities and initiatives within the Partner network to ensure that the Geotab brand is well represented.
Liaise with internal teams to share knowledge insight and understanding from the Partner network around Partner and end-customer satisfaction.
Pull in appropriate stakeholders as needed to drive strategic and tactical initiatives.
Assist Sales Managers with RFPs as required.
Maintain current knowledge of all Geotab solutions technology platforms competitors and industry trends that impact the Partner network.
Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.
8-10 years experience in Program Management Major or Strategic Account Management or similar role.
Strong project management skills; able to identify needs develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills.
A well-defined sense of diplomacy including solid negotiation conflict resolution and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
Strategic mindset has a keen sense of priorities along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.
A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
Technical competence using software programs including but not limited to Google Suite for business (Sheets Docs Slides).
Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
