Role Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established construction business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment is highly organised and values accuracy.
- Previous experience in accounts payable ideally within construction or a similar project-based industry
- Proficient in invoice processing reconciliations and payment runs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Confident using accounting systems and Excel
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Role Responsibilities:
Youll be responsible for managing the full function of accounts payable and supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices and matching to POs
- Managing payment runs and ensuring timely payments
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with month-end close
- Liaising with internal project teams and external suppliers
- Supporting broader finance tasks and reporting as required
