This position is responsible in assisting the in the development and application of maintenance operations workflow processes. The maintenance analyst supports the senior analysts in key operational businesses through evaluation and analysis of key performance indicators and assist operations in the development of strategic plans to achieve world class performance of the Austin Industrial Maintenance operation.
The Maintenance Analyst supports the Senior Maintenance Analyst in maintaining and improving the Austin Industrial AIMS for Maintenance Suite of Products.
This role will support the senior analysts with key customer and Austin leaders to report on business performance performance gaps and progress on implementation plans for improvement. The Maintenance Analyst is responsible for supporting Business critical programs to ensure tools and processes are managed to bring continuous improvement toward operational excellence.
This position should participate with planning and scheduling the resources required to support the continuous improvement toward maintenance excellence. This position requires the ability to maintain a good working relationship with customers and Austins key contacts and be responsible for compliance with OSHA and Austin internal policies and procedures.

Cost Performance
- Manage the efficient use of the companys equipment fleet
Scheduling
- Assist in creating Look Ahead schedules and weekly updates for the assigned sites.
Quality
- Understand all terms and specifications for data reporting in the contract. Ensure personal high standards of quality are established and maintained.
Relationships
- Interact with the Maintenance Analysts to promote safety quality teamwork respect and efficiency
- Ability to develop and maintain the trust of the customer and Austin key contacts.
- Ability to have effective working relationships.
Safety and Environmental
- Interact with the Analyst team to achieve the company objectives for safety and environmental performance. Instill a culture of a safe work environment.
- Ensure all company policy OSHA and contractual requirements are met

- Interact with the Senior Maintenance Analyst to assure you are properly trained for the performance of your job. Maintain a culture of continuous self-improvement.
Accountabilities
- This position is responsible for understanding the application of the AIMS (Austin Industrial Maintenance Management System) suite for reporting analysis and metrics management of identified customers.
- Assists in monitoring the Planner Feedback and Work Order delay data and providing key barriers for the development of improvement strategies for key operations.
- Supports Ops Managers and Site Managers in the development customer performance reviews providing key data trends and recommended improvement plans.
- This position will require 25% travel to domestic operations.
Requirements
- BS in a technical field preferably in an engineering discipline Mechanical Electrical Industrial Maintenance
- and 1 to 5 years in the industry in a related function
- or 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Analyst
- Applicable Maintenance/Reliability certification (Possession of or ability to maintain a CMRP/CMRT within 1 year)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Understanding in the areas of industrial processing.
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Highly organized
- Understanding of CMMS functionality preferably relevant user experience in SAP and/or Maximo
- Understanding of industrial maintenance operation WMP within the petrochemical market (large operators)
- Analytical skills
