Job Description

Physician Assistant-Internal Medicine Permanent Role

  • Location: Dallas TX 75246
  • Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Guaranteed: 40 Hours
  • Compensation: Based on experience.
Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive or focused physical exams and gather medical histories to assess patients physical and mental health.
  • Order collect interpret and evaluate lab and diagnostic tests to identify patient health concerns and needs.
  • Prescribe or recommend drug therapies and therapeutic treatments in line with protocols focusing on efficacy safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement patient treatment plans using evidence-based guidelines in coordination with physicians and care teams.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families on health conditions treatment processes medications nutrition and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records detailing patient assessments treatments and outcomes.
Key Success Factors:
  • Strong medical knowledge in diagnosing and treating injuries diseases and chronic conditions.
  • Understanding of clinical procedures drug interactions and rehabilitative care.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records and medical software.
  • Ability to develop and manage outcome-based care plans.
  • Skilled in interpreting diagnostic tests and counseling patients on treatment and behavioral health management.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Experience: Open to new graduates (Less than 1 year of experience required)

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid PA license in the State of Texas
  • BLS Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer)
  • NCCPA Certification (required).
