Physician Assistant-Internal Medicine Permanent Role
- Location: Dallas TX 75246
- Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 40 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Essential Functions of the Role: - Conduct comprehensive or focused physical exams and gather medical histories to assess patients physical and mental health.
- Order collect interpret and evaluate lab and diagnostic tests to identify patient health concerns and needs.
- Prescribe or recommend drug therapies and therapeutic treatments in line with protocols focusing on efficacy safety and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans using evidence-based guidelines in coordination with physicians and care teams.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on health conditions treatment processes medications nutrition and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records detailing patient assessments treatments and outcomes.
Key Success Factors: - Strong medical knowledge in diagnosing and treating injuries diseases and chronic conditions.
- Understanding of clinical procedures drug interactions and rehabilitative care.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in using electronic health records and medical software.
- Ability to develop and manage outcome-based care plans.
- Skilled in interpreting diagnostic tests and counseling patients on treatment and behavioral health management.
Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Experience: Open to new graduates (Less than 1 year of experience required)
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid PA license in the State of Texas
- BLS Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer)
- NCCPA Certification (required).
