Overview
The Lab TechnicianMLT plays a crucial role in healthcare supporting diagnostic and therapeutic processes through the application of laboratory techniques and practices. This position involves collecting preparing and analyzing biological samples which are critical for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The Lab Technician ensures the accuracy of test results maintains laboratory equipment and adheres to safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure reliable data. By working closely with doctors and other medical professionals Lab Technicians contribute to the overall patient care process making their work vital to achieving favorable health outcomes. They are responsible for maintaining the laboratorys operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and delivering high-quality results that inform medical diagnoses. Key Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare biological samples for laboratory analysis.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Certification from a recognized Medical Laboratory Technician program.
- State licensure if required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards and practices.
- Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Experience with various laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Ability to interpret and analyze test data effectively.
