Job Description
Job Title: Shop Helper
Location: Sapulpa OK
Shift: 12:00 AM 10:30 AM
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shop Helper to join our team in Sapulpa OK. This is a safety-sensitive position that involves working around overhead cranes forklifts automated machinery and other industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will assist craftsmen maintain productivity and quality standards and uphold all safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Work in proximity to overhead cranes forklifts trucks power equipment and automated machinery
Assist skilled craftsmen with various tasks related to their trade
Maintain consistent productivity levels in line with company expectations
Ensure all workmanship meets established quality standards
Comply with all safety procedures and sustain 5S requirements
Demonstrate professionalism teamwork and a commitment to timely project completion
Skills and Experience Requirements
Basic experience in a fabrication or industrial shop environment
Proficiency operating overhead cranes and power tools
Ability to read and write basic shop documentation
Able to accurately use a shop tape measure
Willingness to learn to read shop drawings and interpret bills of materials
Strong desire and ability to learn new skills
