Job Description

Adelphi is seeking pharmacists to provide services at a facility in Belcourt North Dakota. The ideal candidates will be responsible for dispensing medications as prescribed by healthcare providers as well as offering medication counseling to patients on proper usage potential side effects interactions and storage among other duties.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy

Current unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state or territory

Minimum of 1 year of clinical pharmacy experience preferred (inpatient or outpatient).

Responsibilities:

Dispense and verify prescribed medications for accuracy allergies interactions and formulary compliance.

Accurately label prepare and dispense medications including sterile compounding (IV additives).

Participate in medication counseling and patient education at discharge and during clinic visits.

Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify prescriptions and ensure safe and appropriate therapy.

Monitor and manage controlled substances in accordance with DEA and facility guidelines.

Maintain proper documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Operate and document using ScriptPro and Pyxis systems in the outpatient pharmacy.

Support and participate in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives and medication use reviews.

Calculate renal dosing adjustments and assess medication appropriateness based on clinical data.

Any other duties as assigned.
