Job Description
Job Description: ServiceNow Developer - Part time
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g. ITSM ITOM ITAM HRSC IRM CSM) to align with business requirements.
Design code and implement ServiceNow solutions using scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript Glide) workflows and UI customizations.
Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs web services iPaaS (e.g. MuleSoft) MID servers and ETL tools.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Participate in system upgrades testing and deployment activities ensuring solutions are scalable secure and maintainable.
Provide technical support troubleshoot issues and work with ServiceNow support teams to resolve complex development-related challenges.
Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications development standards and integration guides.
Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates new features and industry best practices to enhance development processes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in developing and customizing ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM ITOM ITAM HRSC IRM CSM).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required; additional certifications such as CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) in one or more modules preferred.
Strong proficiency in ServiceNow development tools including scripting (JavaScript Glide) ServiceNow APIs Flow Designer and UI Builder.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST SOAP MID servers and third-party tools like MuleSoft or other iPaaS platforms.
Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture data models and module interconnectivity.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
