Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UEFI Engineer / Architect to lead the design development and optimization of UEFI firmware for high-performance platforms. This role requires deep expertise in firmware architecture debugging and system integration with a focus on performance security and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop UEFI firmware for high-performance computing platforms including Intel/AMD/ARM-based server architectures.
- Lead pre-silicon and post-silicon firmware development ensuring seamless integration with hardware.
- Debug and troubleshoot low-level firmware issues collaborating with hardware and software teams.
- Work closely with ODM/OEM partners to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive innovation in option ROM development UEFI related issue triage and secure firmware updates.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications :
- 10 years of experience in UEFI firmware development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C for firmware programming.
- Deep understanding of x86 architecture ACPI PCIe VGA and memory management.
- Experience in troubleshooting SMBIOS-related issues optimizing firmware interactions for seamless integration.
- Expertise in security features such as Secure Boot TPM and firmware integrity checks.
- Hands-on experience with EDK2 firmware development.
- Experience with remote debugging tools and firmware validation methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud server firmware development
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- AMI UEFI experience is a plus.
