Key Responsibilities:
Lead risk management efforts including claims investigation data analysis and staff education to reduce liabilities and enhance patient safety.
Serve as the facilitys Patient Safety Officer spearheading the implementation of JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals.
Oversee internal/external audits and compliance with regulatory standards including OSHA and JCAHO.
Conduct and chair ethics committee meetings and manage concerns/complaints with professionalism and discretion.
Develop and monitor department goals staffing budgeting and continuous improvement programs.
What Youll Bring:
Must-Haves:
Active North Carolina or Multistate Nursing License or in good standing able to attain one
Bachelors Degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare risk management or claims investigation/management.
Exceptional communication public speaking and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and foster collaborative relationships.
Nice-to-Haves:
Prior management or supervisory experience.
Familiarity with OSHA and JCAHO standards.
Background in medical or pharmaceutical sales.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
