You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Washington Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Seattle Childrens Hospital has three academic anesthesiologist positions available at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice. These positions are either full-time or part-time with an anticipated start date of July 2025 or thereafter. These positions are also not tenure-track and not eligible for tenure. Duties include the teaching of residents fellows medical students and the clinical care team. The successful candidate will provide pediatric anesthesia services. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching scholarship and service. The initial appointment period will be three years with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The base salary range for these positions will be $385008 - $460824 annually ($32084 - $38402 per month) commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Childrens University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Other compensation associated with this position may include incentive through the CUMG practice plan. Compensation provided by the CUMG practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization. For practitioners holding an appointment in the physicians practice plan see the link for additional benefits that may be available at CUMG: have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and have a minimum of one-year fellowship training (or foreign equivalent) in pediatric anesthesia. Must be Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in anesthesiology and must be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Visa sponsorship is not available for part-time positions.
Full-Time
