Full-Time Hybrid Schedule (23 Days Remote)

Join our forward-thinking collaborative Behavioral Health team in Merrimack Valley where youll provide high-quality care in a hybrid model that offers flexibility and balance.



Job Summary

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) youll deliver expert patient-centered mental health care to a diverse population. Youll collaborate closely with primary care and specialty providers to deliver integrated behavioral health services. This is an excellent opportunity to provide meaningful care in both in-person and remote settings helping patients achieve better health outcomes through holistic team-based treatment.

The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation. This position is a Psychiatric NP and focuses on providing care to patients with behavioral health needs.


Essential Functions:

Provide direct psychiatric care counseling and patient education to individuals across various age groups.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including complete histories and mental status exams.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results to support accurate diagnoses and care planning.
Develop and manage personalized treatment plans including follow-up care.
Working in an integrated and collaborative manner with primary care providers through direct and indirect consultation to assist with optimizing care plans.
Prescribe medications in alignment with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
Document patient encounters clearly and timely including progress notes and discharge summaries.
Working as part of a behavioral health team with other psychiatric nurse practitioners and psychiatrists providing cross coverage as needed.



Qualifications

Education

  • Masters Degree in Nursing (required)

Licensure

Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts (required)
Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Hampshire (required by start date)

Experience

  • Experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner preferred.
