The Job

• Ensure safety of employees via active safety culture management policy enforcement and assisting in developing improvements to our business.
• Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the departments mission in an effective and efficient manner.
• Plans and coordinates work by performing time studies cost analysis prototype builds or other means as necessary.
• Trains and motivates; monitors and evaluates performance of associates in the department
• Ensures ability to safely operatematerial handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations.
• Develops Team Leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned associates
• Monitors measures and documents department performance for cost labor and productivity requirements.
• Working with the Human Resources Department selecting employees through the normal hiring process administer policies and procedures as applicable monitor employee. performance/attendance/time resolve associate relation issues coach and counsel for improvement and apply discipline where necessary up to and including termination of employment.

The Person

• Bachelors Degree Required
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a warehouse distribution or manufacturing setting and minimum 1-2 years leadership experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel Word and Outlook
• Experience with inventory or warehouse software databases and other systems including SAP and WMS preferred
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written and the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
• High degree of credibility and integrity
