High-Level Description: The Systems Administrator supports the server compute environment ensuring high availability performance and security. This role requires expertise in managing enterprise-level systems and maintaining compliance with DIA CIO and federal standards.
Detailed Description: The Systems Administrator will oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of server systems to support mission-critical operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting server issues managing upgrades and patches ensuring system security and optimizing performance. This role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and support ongoing operations. The candidate will also maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and updates.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
Security CE certification and TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required.
7 years of experience in enterprise server administration.
Proficiency in Windows Server Linux systems and virtualization technologies.
Strong understanding of RMF FISMA and federal IT standards.
