Job Focus: Under close supervision assists an instructor with providing comprehensive functional training and/or program to consumers/students. Prepares instructional materials and maintains order and cleanliness in the learning environment. Generally assists instructor by correcting students assignments answering basic student questions demonstrating basic program skills preparing curriculum as directed and recording student progress data. Instructional Assistants may serve on committees.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must possess or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire a Serve Safe certification
2. Proven cooking experience including as a line cook restaurant cook or prep cook
3. Proven understanding of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
4. Proficient in Word Processing Outlook Excel
5. Demonstrated ability to maintain excellent customer relations
6. Must successfully pass criminal background check
7. Valid drivers license
This is a part-time position not to exceed 29 hours per week.
Working Schedule can vary dependent on program student and catering needs. A typical schedule is Monday-Thursday from 8:00AM-3:00PM and/or Fridays 8:00AM-1:00PM. Availability may include evenings and weekends depending on catering event schedules.
