Job Description
Overview:
Our client is seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Aide to provide essential care to individuals. As an Aide you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a caring demeanor strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while following care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services including bathing grooming and dressing assistance.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Support clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities- providing companionship and engaging them in meaningful activities.
- Aid individuals with disabilities in their daily routines promoting independence while ensuring safety.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
- Help clients with mobility issues by providing assistance during transfers and ambulation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- Pass background check fingerprint and drug screening
- Previous experience in home community care assisted living or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare systems is beneficial.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is required.
- Experience providing care for individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients families and healthcare professionals.
- Must be reliable compassionate and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Shifts will vary depending on the location candidate is most interested in
Job Types: Full-time Part-time
Pay:$18.50-$19.50 per hour (depending if MAP certified or not)
