Job Description
TES Staffing isseeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Designer to join our client in their growing constructions systems team.
In this role you will be responsible for designing and supporting the implementation of customized interior solutions using the DIRTT (Doing It Right This Time) system. While prior DIRTT experience is not required a solid understanding of construction principles materials and processes is essential to be successful in this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a construction background architectural training or interior design experience who is eager to learn a cutting-edge modular construction system and contribute to innovative sustainable spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients sales teams project managers and contractors to develop DIRTT-based interior construction solutions.
Translate client needs into functional efficient layouts using DIRTT software tools (training provided).
Read and interpret construction drawings specifications and architectural plans.
Participate in site visits field measurements and coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of DIRTT solutions.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy constructability and project timelines.
Support the preparation of quotes submittals and construction documentation packages.
Work within established timelines and budgets while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
What Were Looking For:
Strong understanding of construction architecture or interior designespecially related to commercial environments.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and architectural plans.
Proficiency in CAD or other design software (AutoCAD Revit or similar). DIRTT software experience is a plus but training will be provided.
Excellent communication organization and problem-solving skills.
Comfort working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Self-starter whos excited to learn and innovate.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Architecture Interior Design Construction Management or related field.
13 years of experience in a design drafting or construction coordination role.
Experience working in commercial or modular construction is an asset.
