Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The IGTP needs to incorporate a junior laboratory technician into the Innovation in Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis group.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Participation in the sample management development of laboratory techniques especially cell cultures and phenotypical studies of drug susceptibility testing which are carried out within the Research Group Innovation in respiratory infections and tuberculosis. The studies are part of national project. Specifically in the field of diagnosis and management of tuberculosis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
  • Be in possession of a Higher Cycle degree in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory.
  • Demonstrate experience in research projects in the field of microbiology.
  • Knowledge of RedCAP type data management systems.
  • Experience in cell culture models of infection.
  • Experience in studies of assessing anti-mycobacterial activity of new compounds.
  • Cytological and tissue processing
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Good level of use of office IT.
  • Good level of English (certificate C1)

  • Part-time temporary contract (20h/week).
  • Incorporation: 1st of July 2025.
  • Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate distributed in 12 payments.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
