This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation and service in the appointed kitchen(s) according to the standards set by the Management.
- Keep the assigned kitchen stocked up daily with raw materials and ingredients.
- Know how to use all kitchen equipment safely both electrical and mechanical.
- Be confident with basic cooking skills like chopping and prepping for your station each day.
- Cook food following standard recipes making sure to control portions and reduce waste.
- Follow hotel food safety and hygiene rules (HACCP) at all times.
- Clean and take care of all equipment in the food prep area.
- Quickly let your supervisor know if you spot any hazards unsafe conditions or equipment that needs fixing.
Qualifications :
Who were looking for:
- Minimum High School Certificate ; certification in Culinary Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia or a Diploma in Culinary will be an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity is preferred; however recent graduates with the required certifications are also encouraged to apply.
- Oral proficiency in English language is required.
