Do you have a proven track record in driving revenue across Corporate MICE and Inbound segments
Join our vibrant team at Mercure Townsville and take your career to new heights. You will work closely with the Hotel General Manager and be supported by a wider Portfolio Sales Team collaborating on strategic initiatives that drive business growth and elevate our market position.
What your workday will look like:
Develop successful business acquisition strategies for meetings social events corporate accommodation and Inbound business
Provide quotations for meetings and events proposals covering venue function menu and accommodation costs ensuring revenue is maximized.
Maintenance of conference & corporate database of key contacts/clients.
Actively develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through fostering strong relationships
Complete organisation of all major conference activity / events from confirmation to post-event follow-up in order to ensure client satisfaction
Pro-actively manage a small account base with the target to drive new business from these accounts
Qualifications :
Experience utilising multiple mediums to communicate and build relationships with clients
Confidence with selling accommodation event and outlet spaces within the Hotel
A hunger to convert business a professional who is driven by results
Strong focus and passion for hotel operations hospitality & travel
Great interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues customers and clients and across a broad range of mediums
