Role Overview:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing the Inside Sales organization - Parts and delivering the day-to-day assistance to the outside sales organization to include technical support and quotations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to develop incremental business growth
  • Help define best practices. Lead the requirement-gathering and documentation efforts for all new initiatives.
  • Review quotes and revise as needed
  • Review valve drawings bills of materials and other customer technical and commercial specifications to ensure all proposals are full and complete
  • Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders for a clean order handoff and efficient product delivery
  • Develop and propose efficient Prevent Maintenance Plans (PMPs) to support customers with ongoing maintenance and outage preparation
  • Partner with Outside Sales counterparts to develop winning strategies and execute company-wide expectations around pricing.
  • Develop and support internally led campaigns to execute company growth strategies.
  • The IMI Way: Provide personal leadership and act as a role model for the IMI.
  • Values. Support the compliance and ethics program reinforcing the IMI Way - code of responsible business; support the shaping and execution of the program through training employee communication and behavioral change.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use techniques and processes to manage coach and develop individuals and team performance.
  • Effective in creating an environment of continuous improvement through identifying and sharing best practices to optimize delivery performance and quality.
  • Organizational Development: Responsible for the talent development and strategy for members of the team
  • Proven ability to coach and motivate team members.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of designs applications and operating conditions for CE products.

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales is preferred preferably in Technical Sales
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Passionate about providing value-added service to our customers and striving to exceed their expectations
  • Adaptability to work on a variety of assignments and projects and adjust plans depending on changing priorities
  • Team player attitude with a strong desire to contribute to the larger business growth goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience with using an ERP is preferred
  • Experience with using Salesforces is preferred

Pay range: $120000 - 140000

Within this range individual pay is determined based on skills experience and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws if applicable.

Bonus eligibility: This position is also eligible for a variable incentive pay component separate from base salary.
