Job Description
Mechanic1 8 Hours Date needed: 07/01/202512 Month Calendar
Internal Classified employees are not eligible to apply for open positions during their probationary period of employment.
Hiring Administrator: Jason Wildenborg
GENERAL DUTIES:
Provide basic maintenance and repair to District vehicles.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications including but
not limited to email and systems applications - Hold a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and a valid Oregon
School Bus Drivers Certificate or be able to obtain both within 60 days - Hold an Oregon Department of Education Technician Certification or be able to
obtain one within six months - Basic knowledge of the mechanical operation of vehicles
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
