Position Overview The role of the Transfer Technician is to transfer print jobs from paper to fabric dye sublimation. The position offers growth within the Print department. Essential Job Functions - Transfer print jobs from paper to fabric
- Performs final quality control check through visual functional and/or dimensional inspections as assigned to confirm that product meets quality and design specifications and ultimately customers expectations.
- Accept or reject finished items
- Communicate quality issues to manager/supervisor
- Make independent judgement calls in subjective situations with an understanding of Prinstants quality expectations.
- Knowledge of parts and materials
- Complete material requisition forms
- Observe safety requirements in all duties
- Perform other duties as requested
- Hours are 6:30AM - 3:00PM with the exception of overtime
Qualifications - Short and long-term planning with strong organizational abilities
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and team player
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Education and Experience - High School Diploma/GED required
- Basic computer skills
Physical Demands - Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
- Requires standing walking or bending for entire shift.
Work Conditions - Overtime (or ability to work irregular hours) may be required to meet project deadlines.
- Exposed to elevated temperatures due to transfer machine.
- Must be capable of completing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Manufacturing environment: may be exposed to fumes airborne particles dust or dirt.
