Job Description

As the Robot Chief Engineer under the Logistics division you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering departments technical direction and ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will lead a team of different development disciplines providing structure guidance and support to achieve the companys strategic goals. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams managing resources and ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the robotics development team advancing a culture of innovation collaboration delivery and continuous improvement.
- Advance the team to adhere to the engineering strategies principles processes and procedures to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Ensure the team adheres to the ASI Product Development Process (PDP) and passage of all gate reviews.
- Oversee the design development and testing of engineering solutions ensuring they meet quality safety and performance standards.
- Perform internal development reviews and gates Example: Concept Detailed and Final Designs to ensure the requirements and project performance metrics are met.
- Manage engineering budgets resources and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the robotics engineering team resolving complex technical issues and challenges.
- Promote requirements-driven designs ensuring that all engineering solutions are aligned with customer needs and business goals.
- Facilitate the alignment of verification and validation processes with the specified requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations standards and certifications.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent promoting professional growth and career development within the team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Robotics or a related field.
5 years of proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role.
Strong technical background with expertise in engineering principles practices and methodologies.
Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Experience managing engineering budgets resources and timelines.
Knowledge of relevant regulations standards and certifications.
Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
- Experience working in Robotics Automation or a similar field.
