Description
Overview:
This candidate carries out research on competition policy regulation international trade and intellectual property as directed by the Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and the Visiting Post-graduate fellow with whom the SRF works. They will learn how senior professionals working on economic policy develop their research agendas analyze complex issues and promote their research. It is expected that they will enhance his or her analytical skills and knowledge of applied public policy.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carries out research on competition regulation international trade and intellectual property as directed.
- Summarizes the results of the research in short memos.
- Assists the SRF and the VPF on their research projects and public presentations.
Qualifications
- B.A. candidate hopefully in economics (or with a significant focus on economics).
- A strong academic record that demonstrates strength in research and writing.
