Merchandiser II- Des Moines IAADM Oilseed Processing
This is a full time exempt position
Position Summary:This intermediate-level merchandising role is part of the Commercial Corn Processing team based in Des Moines IA. The primary responsibility is leading Iowa FOB Trucking operations along with performing key merchandising functions. This position involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and collaborating with colleagues across other ADM facilities and roles. Additional responsibilities include managing logistics coordinating with accounting and execution teams and addressing customer-related issues. As a mid-level member of the merchandising team this role demands advanced critical thinking a solid understanding of market dynamics and the ability to contribute to employee developmentbeyond the expectations of an entry-level position.

Description of work performed:- Builds & maintains positive relationships with accounts that bring defined value

- Leads and develops a logistics strategy on inbound/outbound rail movement

Knowledge & Skills:- University degree in agriculture or business (i.e. economics finance accounting) and a minimum of 3 years experience in commodity trading. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
