Job Title: Warehouse Associate I
Pay Rate:$24/hour
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Location: Onsite
Interview Requirement: In-person interview required
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate I to support operations related to cold chain logistics and reusable packaging systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in temperature-sensitive environments has strong communication skills and can perform physically demanding tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble ready-for-use packaging systems for scheduled pick-ups
- Manage cold chain shipments across various temperature ranges
- Maintain and manage inventory of packaging systems gel packs and components
- Handle dry ice safely and replenish shipments as needed
- Refurbish reusable packaging and follow GxP documentation protocols
- Use WC operating systems including WorldStar and Opstar
- Follow procedures for TempTale temperature monitoring devices
- Create accurate shipping documentation including airline airway bills for domestic/international shipments
- Identify shipping documentation needs and product temperature requirements
- Schedule pick-ups and coordinate return shipments with external locations
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong customer service phone skills to coordinate pickups with client locations
- Experience in a warehouse logistics or shipping environment
- Understanding of cold chain management principles is preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with GxP compliance and documentation standards is a plus
