General Description: The purpose of reading support is to establish improving students success in reading by implementing direct reading support using approved curriculum document student progress activities and outcomes. The Reading Intervention Teacher will deliver reading model skills and provide a safe and positive learning environment; provide feedback to students parents and administration regarding student progress expectations and :Collects analyzes and prepares data for the purpose of interpretation and reporting to the district state and federal methods required to perform assignments for the purpose of providing an effective reading program and addressing the needs of students abilities in reading skills for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of learning disorders developing remediation plans and evaluating student students (small group sessions) for the purpose of improving their success in student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and an optimal learning student progress for the purpose of providing student feedback on a regular basis to students teachers and parents and determining interventions for those students who are diagnosed as at risk the learning process toward achievement of established goals and communicates clear objectives to the students for all reading assessments as allotted learning time to maximize student a variety of techniques and strategies to meet different aptitudes and interests of students including technology and specialized IEP Section 504 or other related meeting necessary for student assessment and/or compliance with the federal and/or state and consults with teachers in establishing reading accurate complete records as required by the law district and administrative in literacy nights to support : - 182 school days in accordance with the Randolph Education Association (REA) collective bargaining agreement- Salary placement will be consistent with REA salary schedule
