Duxbury High School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of .5 Family and Consumer Science Teacher/.5 Physical Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Requirements:
- Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Health/Family and Consumer Science (All) and Physical Education (5-12). (Both certifications are required)
- SEI endorsement preferred
- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Classroom management skills that support students social-emotional learning
- Ability to partner with families to meet the needs of all learners
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and assigned courses that include Culinary Arts Food Production Service Child Growth & Development and Physical Education for grades 9-12.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Citizenship residency or work visa required
