Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Concessions Manager is responsible for organizing and supervising the operation of all school-run concession stands during athletic and extracurricular events at Walla Walla High School. This individual ensures smooth operations accurate inventory tracking adherence to food safety protocols and effective communication with student groups coaches and advisors. The position plays a key leadership role in facilitating fundraising opportunities for student organizations.
PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES
- Coordinate the operation of concession stands across campus venues (Blue Devil Stadium Blue Devil Gymnasium).
- Develop and maintain an event calendar assigning groups to specific concession dates.
- Communicate regularly with Concessions Representatives from participating student groups.
- Supervise and support hourly-paid Student Managers assigned to each location/season.
- Coordinate training for student and adult volunteers in food safety equipment use and cash handling.
- Order and oversee inventory of food beverage and supply items.
- Collaborate with the ASB Administrator/Athletic Director to ensure facility readiness and scheduling accuracy.
- Maintain and organize records related to budget tracking group payouts and participation.
- Submit regular updates and documentation to the school bookkeeper.
- Serve as a lead member of the Concessions Committee.

RIQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in food service operations or volunteer coordination preferred.
- Ability to lead and train student workers and adult volunteers.
- Maintain Washington State Food Worker Card and train student managers on procedures related to food safety (training will be provided).
- Must be available evenings and occasional weekends during the designated season(s).
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
PAY LEVEL
Seasonal Stipend (Extracurricular Coaching Non-Athletic Positions - Group 4)
STIPEND &TERMS
- This is a stipend position paid per season (Fall Winter Spring) and aligned with the districts extra-duty schedule.
- The role may be held by one individual year-round or assigned separately by season.
