ABOUT WILLIAMS LAKE FIRST NATION (WLFN)
The Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) or the Texelcemc (people of WLFN) have belonged to the Secwepemc (or Shuswap) Nation for over 6500 years. Today the WLFN community includes a growing population of over 800 registered members who live on reserve in Sugar Cane in nearby Williams Lake BC and across the globe.

POSITION
Reporting to the Director of Natural Resources the Natural Resources Administrator is a key administrative and coordination role within the Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) Natural Resources Department. This position supports the effective operation of the department through meeting coordination grant tracking database management calendar organization and policy development assistance. By ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and supporting strategic initiatives the Natural Resources Administrator plays a vital part in advancing WLFNs stewardship goals and strengthening departmental capacity.
The Natural Resources Administrator is responsible for organizing departmental meetings and community events maintaining schedules for senior leadership supporting the preparation and tracking of grant applications and reports and ensuring the departments information management systems are well maintained and continuously improved. This role also contributes to the development of internal Natural Resources policies and procedures and provides administrative support for planning engagement and fieldwork logistics.
This is a dynamic detail-oriented position that requires excellent organizational skills the ability to manage multiple priorities and a commitment to upholding WLFNs values stewardship responsibilities and administrative best practices.
