SHIFTS AND HOURS
- Day Shift 8:00-4:30 Working Monday - Friday
- Evening shift 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM working Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
- Must be available for an occasional but rare call-in
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Under supervision assists in all facets of patient care including admission process orientation assessment treatment planning and discharge.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and chemical use assessment on each assigned patient
- Make a determination on appropriate level of care for each patient (inpatient vs. outpatient)
- Develop measurable treatment plans based on assessments
- Conduct group or individual counseling sessions with patients and significant others as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSES
- High school graduate with college preferred
- One year experience in the substance abuse field
South Dakota Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor CCDC Level I (minimum)
