Job Description
Amazon Web Services provides a highly reliable scalable low-cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries around the world. To meet the growing demand for AWS product offerings around the globe we need exceptionally talented bright and driven people. If you have strong program management IT infrastructure and/or programming experience and can communicate highly technical concepts to audiences at different stages in the AWS journey wed like to speak with you. We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join AWS to help us drive functional parity across all AWS Regions. In this role your primary responsibility will be delivering a consistent customer experience for all AWS customers through Service parity. This role requires technical background and understanding of AWS region builds internal tooling and dependencies.

Key job responsibilities
A TPM will work closely with Service Teams Infrastructure and Business Development in driving toward a consistent customer experience across all AWS Regions. You will collaborate with Product Teams to design solutions that make efficient use of resources and technologies. You will work with all stakeholders to develop milestones and schedules that ensure functional consistency across regions. You will assess risks anticipate issues overcome technical obstacles make difficult trade-off decisions and balance business needs and technical constraints.

The Global Product Expansion Team defines the core AWS product offering (which services go where) and creates a consistent customer experience across all AWS infrastructure offerings. We are product managers TPMs and data evangelists that build products and drive expansion of services and features providing customers what they want when they want it.

Utility Computing (UC)
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (IoT) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

- 3 years of technical product or program management experience
- 3 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- 3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience with roadmap strategy and definition

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
