QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid state of Texas Principal Certification
Two years of experience in an administrative (non-classroom) role is preferred
Possess a high-level knowledge of curriculum instruction and best practices
Ability to effectively lead and supervise campus personnel
Ability to prioritize demanding tasks in order to complete projects
Ability to employ logical sequencing trouble-shooting problem-solving and decision-making skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct supervise and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
Collaboratively create implement and monitor an effective campus improvement plan for high academic achievement for all students
Effectively lead and supervise a school schedule including all academic programs
Communicate effectively with individuals and groups including staff parents students district administrators and community members
Manage a campus budget and building operations
Promote high expectations to meet the school districts mission goals and objectives
Utilize technology including technology for professional development and faculty presentations at high levels of proficiency
Coordinate state testing and training for an elementary campus
Other duties as assigned
