Job Description

Saint Agnes School (Infant-Grade 8) and Arlington Catholic High School (9-12) make up the Catholic School of Saint Agnes Parish (). We are committed to small class sizes character and faith formation and supporting the individual academic growth of each are seeking candidates for a full-time Nurse for the Early Learning Center Lower and Middle School campus. Candidates who are looking for a part-time schedule will be considered if they can be combined with other staff to ensure coverage throughout the entire school school nurse provides professional health care and coordinates the resources of the school home and community as they pertain to the total health of the students faculty and staff. The school nurse reports to the Associate Principal. The major responsibilities of the school nurse are as follows:Maintains the confidentiality of health records of all enrolled medications/monitors medications of students and cares for ill or injured students (MDPH)Serves as a resource for faculty and staff who may have questions about the health and well-being of a studentMaintains and secures the medications and medical supplies of the health suiteProvides first aid for medical emergenciesMaintains a daily nursing log of students Promote and assist in the prevention/control of communicable diseasesAssist in assessing potential abuse and neglect issues implement mandated reporting as neededCommunicates with medical providers parents/guardians school faculty and administrators regarding student health needsWorks closely with the Athletic Trainer concerning sports injuries and concussion protocols Provide staffing of the Nurses Office from 7:30-2:30Assists in ensuring coverage of the Nurses Office when out of the building Collaborates with the high school nurseSubmit a cover letter resume 3 references and proof of certification (all through SchoolSpring).
