You are:
The Sr. Cloud Engineer will lead the design implementation and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure for an AWS-based data and API platform. The Sr. Cloud Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable secure and efficient cloud solutions that meet business needs.
The work:
- Design deploy and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure using AWS services
- Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions that are secure cost-effective and aligned with industry best practices
- Automate infrastructure provisioning configuration management and application deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure high-availability and reliability
- Implement and maintain security measures including identity and access management encryption and compliance controls
- Collaborate with development operations and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into the client environment
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers
Heres what you need:
- 5 years of experience in AWS services in one or more of the following:
- EC2
- S3
- RDS
- Lambda
- VPC
- IAM
- CloudWatch
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Experience leading junior team members
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Solid understanding of networking concepts like VPN VPCs DNS and load balancing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment
- AWS Certification (e.g. AWS Certified Solution Architect)
- Experience with hybrid-cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
Eligibility Requirements:
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Interim Secret Clearance required
- Must be local to Arlington VA and willing to work onsite one day per week
As required by local law Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states ofCalifornia Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New Jersey New York Washington Vermont and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New Jersey New York Washington Vermont and the District of Columbia is:
