Job Description
DATTCO is currently searching for a full-time Operations Supervisor for our school bus teams in Coventry Andover Marlborough & Hebron CT. The Operations Supervisor is a key role that coordinates and directs the daily activity of the terminal and is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of all drivers and vehicles.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling drivers and effectively dispatching fixed route service and charters
- Assist drivers with directions and customer itineraries
- Monitor attendance
- Answer routine phone calls from the Board of Education drivers and parents
- Clerical filing and reporting duties
- Responsible for drivers weekly payroll
- Interview driver candidates for employment
- Discipline drivers when necessary
- Routing
Position Requirements:
- Commercial drivers license (CDL) with P and S endorsements
- At least one-year transportation experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Be flexible and a self-starter
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good customer and employee relations skills
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook Excel and computerized routing software
