Job Description
Position: Cross Country/Track and Field Assistant Coach
Department: Athletics
Campus: North Manchester IN
Target Hire Date:July 2025
Manchester University seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Cross Country/Track & Field Assistant Coach to support the success of our NCAA Division III program. Join a team that values integrity development and the pursuit of excellence.
What Youll Do:
Support student-athlete academic success eligibility and retention.
Assist in all recruitment efforts working closely with admissions.
Foster a positive inclusive and development-focused team culture.
Help coordinate practice sessions meet schedules travel and logistics.
Maintain and track program budgets equipment and inventory.
Comply with NCAA HCAC and institutional guidelines.
Participate in department meetings university events and fundraising.
What Youll Need:
Bachelors degree preferred.
Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferably at the NCAA Division III level.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Valid CPR/AED First Aid certification (available on-site).
Valid drivers license (for team travel).
Successful completion of NCAA Division III Rules Test.
