What You Will Achieve

In this role you will:

  • Leads technical improvement projects or programs aimed at defect reduction improved equipment reliability and better equipment utilization.
  • Serves as customer project manager on capital projects or operational improvements;
  • Collaborates with and influences other enabling departments (Quality Engineering Maintenance etc.) to ensure initiatives are successful.
  • Provides concise and thorough updates on initiatives to site leadership.
  • Resolve moderately complex problems and develop new options in non-standard situations operating independently in ambiguous contexts.
  • Apply skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to departmental work.
  • Work independently on assignments receiving guidance on unusual or complex issues.
  • Review your own work and seek directional feedback potentially mentoring other colleagues.
  • Utilize judgment and experience potentially serving as a resource for others.
  • Coordinate and manage manufacturing technical processes and functions to support technical projects.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving ideas focusing on efficiency and equipment capacity improvements.
  • Ensure all projects comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices regulatory standards and safety requirements.
  • Develop objectives for assignments and operate independently especially in ambiguous situations.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 2 years of experience or PhD/JD with any years of experience or associates degree with at least 8 years of experience or high School Diploma (or Equivalent) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to contribute to and lead project teams
  • Effective interaction skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • Masters degree with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Experience with regulatory standards and safety compliance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in non-standard situations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to mentor and guide other colleagues
  • Experience in implementing cost-saving initiatives

Work Location Assignment:On Premise

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $96300.00 to $160500.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
