Job Description

Hatfield Public Schools is currently hiring for a part time Kitchen Staff Employee for the upcoming school yearbeginning August 25 2025. This part time position will include 13-18 hours per week (4.5 hours per day 3-4 days) forthe upcoming school year 25-26. Qualified candidates will be interviewed within the next 30 : Prepare and serve food items in the cafeteria. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times Assist with food preparation including cutting fruit vegetables and assembling meals Set up and maintain serving stations with appropriate food items and utensils Clean and sanitize work areas including countertops equipment dining tables and operate dish machine Assist with inventory management and restocking of food supplies Provide excellent customer service to students and staff Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accuratelyQualifications: Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standardsIf you have a passion for hospitality enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and have a desire to provideexceptional service to customers we encourage you to apply for the position of Kitchen Worker.
