The Alameda County Public Works Agency is seeking an experienced Deputy Director of Public Works to lead its Development Services and Construction Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to make a lasting impact on the Countys growth and infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge of land development building permits and inspections construction management contract administration and the administration of county service areas along with a passion for delivering innovative solutions that support vibrant and sustainable communities.
Youll oversee the review approval and inspection of private development projects within unincorporated areas while managing major County-led capital construction initiatives. Your role will shape how communities are built and ensure infrastructure meets the Countys safety environmental and planning standards.
