- Multiples Positions Available 1.71 FTE
- Salary:$1128.60 - $1140.30 per week (pro rata)

Are you dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults people with disabilities or those who need a little extra help to stay in their own homes Were seeking a caring and reliable Direct Care Worker (Community) to provide essential in-home support services that promote independence and wellbeing.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager the Direct Care Worker (Community) will work closely with Community Health professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Youll provide direct client care assisting frail aged or disabled individuals who wish to maintain their independence in their own homes ensuring they receive respectful and high-quality support tailored to their needs.
What Were Looking For:
- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
- Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
- Experience in dealing with aged frail or disabled persons.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word Excel.

This is a multiple positions part time vacancy hours to be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for this role.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
