Overview
The Fleet and Facilities Technician supports day-to-day operations related to facility maintenance and fleet coordination. This role is responsible for cleaning maintaining and coordinating the use of Egans fleet of vehiclesincluding autos pickup trucks and work vansto ensure a high-quality and efficient experience. Responsibilities include delivering and picking up vehicles managing check-ins/check-outs assisting with tool inventory processes and coordinating routine maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
The basic responsibilities of the Fleet and Facilities Technician include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide general support for facility and fleet operations.
- Clean company fleet vehicles trailers and equipment (interior and exterior).
- Support vehicle check-in/out procedures cleaning and minor repairs.
- Operate company trucks vans and cars as required to support operations.
- Work independently and take initiative in daily tasks.
- Perform basic building repairs and coordinate facility maintenance tasks.
- Order facility-related products and supplies as needed.
- Assist the Fleet Coordinator with maintaining accurate vehicle records (paper and digital).
- Collaborate closely with Egans repair garage to facilitate fleet upkeep.
- Distribute license plates registration tabs insurance documentation and gas cards to drivers.
- Install and remove GPS tracking devices from vehicles.
- Set up meeting rooms or other warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid drivers license (required).
- Proof of car insurance
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to anticipate needs and respond proactively to changing conditions.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Docs Sheets etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comfortable creating and managing Excel spreadsheets.
- Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods.
Working Conditions
- The majority of the role involves detailing vehicles and driving them to various locations which may include distances up to 100 miles from the Champlin office. This work is performed both indoors and outdoors depending on the task and weather conditions.
- The remaining time is dedicated to general warehouse duties such as preparing rooms for meetings and assisting with facility-related tasks.
- Comfortable with light lifting (up to 40lbs) bending and working in varying weather conditions.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (subject to such factors as experience education and/or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
