Looking for meaningful work as a marketing copywriter with a company thats committed to making the world a better place
Collaborate with designers and experts in an in-house agency to develop diverse marketing materials.
Onsite position: Pittsburgh PA office
Candidates selected for interviews must provide writing samples.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strategic marketing messages for different channels including the website that align with brand expectations and collaborate effectively with internal colleagues.
- Develop copy that conforms to layout and other design parameters while maintaining the consistent voice and style of each respective brand.
- Write creative headlines and campaign concepts. Be skilled in technical product writing to improve customer experience and boost sales.
- Brainstorm and develop dynamic and compelling creative concepts both independently and collaboratively that advance marketing strategies and coordinated campaigns.
- Enlist the help of cross-functional teams to aggregate individual product features benefits and claims when writing technically oriented copy for collateral.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental team members to transform briefs into creative content for diverse clients using established methods.
- Review and edit colleagues work for accuracy grammar and style compliance.
- Work on multiple concurrent projects ensuring that you complete deliverables on time while upholding the highest standards of quality and creativity.
- Build knowledge of the company products and markets; understand competitors; stay updated on retail and editorial trends.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing Science Communications English Journalism Advertising or related field.
- 4 years of strong writing skills with excellent grammar knowledge attention to detail spelling proofreading story construction and creativity.
- Write creative and technical copy for online and offline marketing to target audiences clearly.
- Successful track record of combining business objectives design recommendations and technical constraints into a single innovative brand-right solution.
- Ability to understand complex abstract science-based subjects and express them in a straightforward consumer-friendly way.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in one voice across multiple tactics.
- Substantial understanding of marketing and branding principles and working knowledge of graphic design and information architecture principles.
- Effective in-person communication skills solid presentation skills and ability to respond positively to critical feedback.
- Very strong initiative problem-solving drive and passion for collaboration combined with the poise and determination to multitask effectively under pressure while balancing speed with quality.
- Experience in writing for e-commerce websites focusing on SEO ADA compliance and leading translations.
