Job Description
The Northampton Public Schools is seeking a 1:1 Paraeducator! RK Finn Ryan Road Elementary School 1:1 Paraeducator (1)32.50 hours per week Monday through Friday from 7:25 a.m. 2:25 p.m. Start Date: August 25 2025 Hourly Pay Rate: $23.04 - $29.07 based on experience. * July 2026 availability preferred for the Special Education Extended Year Program. The Summer Extended Year Program is for students who have been found eligible for additional support over the summer to help prevent regression as per their Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or its equivalent: ParaPro or similar assessment program certificate or 48 hours college credits preferred. Professional development as working with young children. IF HIRED: Must have acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS Fingerprint Background Checks prior to start of :Full benefits and privileges are consistent with the Northampton Association of School Employees (NASE) Paraeducator Unit C Collective Bargaining Agreement Contract.
