Job Description

Arbor Lodging is a leading hotel investment and management company with a growing portfolio of hotels across the United States. We have been entrusted by numerous partners and are approved managers for Marriott Hilton Hyatt and IHG. Our culture is focused on connecting our guests with exceptional experiences. Summary:

The host/hostess is responsible for greeting guests determining the number in their party and seating guests at a clean available table. They are the first point of contact in the restaurant and should provide a great first impression for guests dining experience.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality service to guests in a friendly enthusiastic professional and timely manner.
  • Greeting and escorting guests to tables
  • Maintaining an efficient dining room operation to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assisting with clearing tables during or after service and controlling guest flow.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • One year experience as a host in a full service restaurant or banquets operation or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain a food handler card and liquor license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and to stand for long periods of time
