Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist - Certified Hand Therapist
Location: New Milford CT
Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday (will also consider part-time)
Compensation:$75000 - $110000/year (pending experience)
Incentives: $15000 sign-on bonus and our student loan repayment program!
Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time or part-time Certified Hand Therapist - Occupational Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center in New Milford. Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred we are willing to consider occupational therapists with at least one year of experience working in hand therapy (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.

Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
- High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB clinician expertise patient perception).
- Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
- Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
- CPR certification
- One (1) year of experience working in hand therapy
- Valid drivers license
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
- Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
