Job Description
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team in Ruidoso NM. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and be residency trained in EM FP or IM with EM experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients
- Work in a single physician coverage setting with 1 midlevel provider
- Participate in peak season shifts during winter months
Schedule and Shift Details
- 144 hours per month 12 shifts at 12 hours (8am-8pm OR 8pm-8am). Peak seasons are all 12-hour shifts from Thanksgiving to February.
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Internal Medicine
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Doctorate degree
- Valid Medical Doctor (MD) in New Mexico (NM)
- Valid Board Certified
