Location: Nashville TN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Capture Administrator to support the installation configuration and maintenance of Capture Professional software and scanner hardware covered under the State Contract. This role also includes providing user support and training managing system access and ensuring proper documentation of procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills a working knowledge of desktop environments and familiarity with ECM capture processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Install configure and maintain Capture Professional software and compatible scanners under State Contract
Provide ongoing technical and customer support to end users and agency technical staff
Define implement and enforce security access for desktop and mid-level ECM systems
Serve as the primary point of contact for agency technical teams regarding capture-related issues
Analyze technical problems identify root causes and implement corrective solutions
Deliver basic user training on the Capture Professional software and related components
Document all support activities maintenance procedures and system configurations
Support integration and connectivity between capture components and database systems
Ensure compliance with departmental hardware/software standards and participate in system updates
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a technical support or system administration role focused on ECM capture solutions
Hands-on experience installing and supporting:
Capture Professional
Microsoft Windows and Windows 2003 Server
Microsoft Office Suite (Standard)
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Database connectivity tools
Strong troubleshooting skills in desktop/workstation environments
Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and department-level IT standards
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical users
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
Experience supporting ECM systems in public-sector or large enterprise environments
Exposure to scanner hardware configuration and capture workflow design
